My friend had come here a couple months ago and said it was amazing. We were walking around with today and decided to drop in for something small. I was not disappointed, the food tasted homemade and the ambiance was so cozy and comforting. We were met with waters, menus and instructions on where to order. If you’re in the mood for some delicious Indian food that tastes fresh, healthy, and like it was made by a loved one you need to stop by.

This is a small gem in DC. Great food options, delicious food, and nice folks behind the counter! We had breakfast here and it was absolutely amazing having options that are light, vegetarian, and so full of flavor! In particular, we loved the idli sambar Update: They do include a 10% service charge - they didn't give us an itemized bill so we included a 20% tip and saw it later on the final text receipt. I didn't reduce the rating since we rated mostly on the food and we should have asked to see the itemized bill so that's on us.

Recently had the pleasure of dining at an exceptional Indian restaurant in Georgetown, D.C. The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. I was recommend the restaurant from a clothing store close by. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, helping me navigate the extensive menu. The food was outstanding, with dishes like samosas, dal makhani, lamb rogan josh, butter chicken, garlic butter naan and chai tea, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and delicious Indian dining experience in Georgetown D.C.

We’re visiting Georgetown and came to this place for dinner. I’m glad we did. Don’t get put off by the plastic cutlery or the plates. Wait till you get the food!! The samosa chaat was delicious! But could’ve had some saave and coriander leaves. The naans were soft and chewy. The saag, aloo ghobi and khadai Panneer were absolutely perfect taste and spice levels as requested! To top it all is the price; very affordable! Really great tasting food we had and huge appreciation to the chef. Also Atif at the desk was brilliant too! If you’re looking for authentic Indian at an affordable price don’t miss this place
